THE SEED LOCAL is committed to making our website welcoming and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we think about community. We want every visitor to be able to find our workshops, coaching, and gardening content, and to reach us with ease.

OUR COMMITMENT

We are working to make our website accessible and to keep it that way as we grow. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines are the recognized standard for making web content easier to use for people with a wide range of abilities.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

To support accessibility, we work to:

  • Use clear, readable text and a logical page structure.

  • Provide text descriptions for meaningful images.

  • Maintain color contrast that is easier to read.

  • Make our website usable with a keyboard and with common assistive technologies, such as screen readers.

  • Choose fonts, sizes, and layouts that support readability.

We review these efforts as we add new content and features, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time task.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS

We are always improving, and some parts of our website may not yet be fully accessible. We also use third-party tools and services, and we do not control the accessibility of every one of them. If you come across a barrier, we want to hear about it so we can address it.

ACCESSIBILITY OF OUR EVENTS

We also want our in-person workshops and events to be welcoming. If you have an accessibility need for an event, such as seating, mobility, or dietary support, please tell us when you book or contact us in advance. We will do our best to accommodate you.
